Pet Overpopulation Fund

Last year, more than 43,000 unwanted dogs and cats were euthanized in Colorado. By contributing to the Pet Overpopulation Fund (CPOF), Colorado taxpayers can help reduce the number of stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. Donations to CPOF helped fund over 6,700 spay and neuter surgeries in underserved areas of Colorado in 2004. Every spay and neuter surgery is critical to reducing pet overpopulation.
